Kristen is a 30-something PNW native. When she’s not editing manuscripts, she can be found with a book in hand.

She has been an avid reader since she was a toddler, always carrying a book (or several, thank you kindle & kindle app) with her. Outside of reading, she can be found hammocking, hiking, camping, and hanging out with friends.

Two years of journalism – as a news editor and copy editor – in high school gave her the love for grammar and tweaking words to make them the best they can be. In an unexpected plot twist, she ended up majoring in early childhood special education and spent nearly a decade as a nanny.

Bookstagram connected her with friends all over the world who adore reading as much as she does, as well as with indie authors who are navigating the publishing world. Opportunities to beta read for friends gave her the space to fall back in love with editing & when one of those authors pushed her to look into editing, she asked a lot of questions & did a lot of research, and then dove all into editing!

Now, here she is: chasing her dreams to help authors elevate their words to take their book to the next level!

And because it’s just so dang fun to chat about books, here are a few of her favorites!

– the Bergman Brothers series by Chloe Liese
– Lovelight Farms trilogy by B.K. Borison
– Funny Feelings by Tarah DeWitt
– Next To You by Hannah Bonam-Young
– Almost Home by Anna P
– The Right Move by Liz Tomforde
